I sit staring sadly, down at the sea
The darkening night, provokes memory
A ship, light and pure, sails the ocean
Its mast, prow and sails, have never been broken
One calm night, as purple dusk fell
And the sun dipped down, up came a fearsome squell
Rain lashed the deck, clouds veiled the moon
And all in the dark, they awaited their doom
Waves rose high, wind rocked the ship
The shore stood waiting, the ship began to tip
The captain spun the wheel, the ship swung around
